What Can I Expect from a Perfect Derma Peel?

The Perfect Derma Peel is a 15-minute non-invasive procedure. Once you are ready and comfortable, your aesthetician will clean your skin and prep it for treatment. A chemical solution will then be applied to the area you wish to be treated and the application will only take a few minutes. You may feel a slight tingling or burning sensation, but your aesthetician can soothe this by numbing the skin with topical or turning on a fan. After you are finished, you can continue your day and expect to see results within a week. You can also schedule a follow-up consultation to receive your next treatment after four weeks.

Aftercare and Results

After your peel, you can return to your normal routine. However, you should avoid exercising during the peeling process, since excessive sweating can affect the process. Try to limit sun exposure as well, since your skin could receive uneven exposure while it is peeling. You should also wait two days to wear makeup or other skincare products on the treated area.

You may notice some redness and skin sensitivity immediately after your procedure, as well as peeling skin beginning on the third day after your peel. Peeling will stop and your results will be revealed a week after receiving your Perfect Peel.
