What is Restylane Refyne?

Refyne is a member of the Restylane family of dermal fillers. Designed with proprietary XpresHAn Technology™, it uses cross-linked hyaluronic acid specifically created with the lower face and mouth in mind. Refyne supports your facial tissues for a more natural approach to filling in nasolabial folds and marionette lines – which are usually subject to normal movements like smiling, chewing, or talking. This process can cause fillers to break down quickly in this area, but Refyne’s unique cross-linked formulation provides long-lasting improvement without compromising mobility or results.

Restylane Refyne is very similar to Restylane Defyne™, but it’s slightly thicker and provides more support to the area. Defyne, on the other hand, is softer and allows for more natural movement. Our experienced team can help you select the right option based on your goals.

Restylane Refyne Aftercare Steps

It’s normal to experience some slight redness and swelling in your treatment area afterward, but this usually subsides within a day or two. You may have some minor bruising, which can be covered with mineral makeup or avoided altogether by stopping NSAIDs at least two weeks before and after your treatment. Since your skin will be photosensitive after treatment, avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 30 or more when you go outside. Make sure to also avoid heat from steamy showers or exercising. If you experience discomfort or swelling, you can ice the area with a protected ice pack for 15 minutes at a time.

You’ll see instant improvement after treatment, but it can take up to 2 weeks for your final results to settle in so make sure to give yourself plenty of time ahead of any big events. How Long Does Restylane Refyne Last?
